Excali-GDrive is a Chrome extension that helps you save and load Excalidraw drawings to your own Google Drive.
What it does
- Connects your Google account securely via OAuth
- Saves Excalidraw scenes as .excalidraw files in Google Drive
- Loads previously saved files back into Excalidraw
- Lets you manage files (save, load, delete) from the extension toolbar
How it works
1. Install the Excali-GDrive extension
2. Open https://excalidraw.com
3. Click Connect in the extension toolbar
4. Save and load drawings from your Google Drive
Permissions and scope
Excali-GDrive uses Google Drive scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
This scope allows the extension to access files it creates or files you explicitly use with the app.
